About Us
The Lakeview Corporation was incorporated in Santa Clara County on October 23, 1948. The three persons responsible for incorporation and serving as the first directors of the Corporation were: William E. Knuth, Herbert C. Gardner and Oscar S. Hollenberg. The property owned by the Corporation was donated and deeded to the Lakeview Corporation by William and Mary Griscom, James Hand, Margaret Stedman and Marcus and Elizabeth Stedman in 1948. The foresight of these fine people and their families has provided us today with the present corporate property extending from Emigrant Road down to the shoreline of Fallen Leaf Lake. The purpose of this property is to provide permanent access to the lakefront for the owners of lots 58 through 100.
Shortly after the ownership of the property was obtained, a trail was constructed from Emigrant Road down to the waterfront. In 1957 work was started on the dock facilities. The dock work, including the first lockers, was completed in 1959. Additional lockers have been added and dock repairs have been made over the years.
